I grew up eating flank steak on special occasions. This was the kids favorite steak, probably because it was always marinated and when cut against the grain, it is quite tender. If memory serves me right, Mom would marinate for 24 hours in the fridge and toss on the grill cooked medium. Not a lot of these on the site as there just isn't many flanks on a cow! If you can grab one, I highly suggest it!
