Lamb Leg Roast

Lamb Leg Roast ~3-4 lb

These are the highlight of lots of great holiday meals or the Sunday Supper... which by the way is making a comeback at our house!  I usually slow cook in the oven and pair with a mint jelly.  These are not full leg roasts, so don't feel bad ordering 2 for a single dinner!  

Puente Verde Farms in Fort Collins CO raises a small herd of Katahdin hair sheep.  This breed has less lanolin than other breeds and thus has a toned down flavor profile than your typical lamb.  Raised on pastures in the summer and fall then fed an organic hay in the winter.
