These are great for the smoker, the crock pot, Instapot and oven roasted. The shoulder roast is one that needs to be cooked slow and low for at least a couple of hours for best results, but the wait is worth the taste. HOLY COW... er I should say HOLY PIG! Tender, juicy and full of flavor. Not to mention, hang on to that bone for making broth down the road. Our go to easiest recipe... toss a roast in the crock pot, i jar of banana peppers, little bit of water (cook all day in the crock pot)... pull the pork and put on a hoagie with provolone, horseradish, mayo and you have a beautiful spicy pork sandwich!
