Duck- Whole- Jodar Farms

Jodar Farms raised up the inaugural batch of Pasture Raised Pekin Ducks this summer.  They were such a joy to have on the farm, it was actually a bit difficult to send them to slaughter.  These ducks dressed very nicely at 3.25-4 lbs.  I will say there a few more pin feathers than we would like to see, but overall they plucked pretty well.  On the next batch we will be working on some other tactics for better plucking.
